What type of audio-to-text transcription do you require?
Audio-to-text transcription services have different approaches, so it is very important to be conscious of the purpose of the final document to know what type of transcription should be done.
In TranscribeYA we have the experience to identify what type of audio-to-text transcription service our clients require, depending on the sector.
However, we consider it important that you know what kind of transcriptions are performed and so you can rest assured that the final document will fulfill the objective you need:
Clean or full verbatim:
The full verbatim transcription usually transcribes in detail everything that happens in the audio and for that reason it is very useful in judgments. This includes stutters, utterances and other sounds.
Clean transcription is more flexible and extended, it is usually very common to transcribe interviews or other audios and videos.

Editing:
It is used when a perfectly written text is required, which is difficult to obtain in a conference, interview, trial… where the speaker sometimes improvises or makes mistakes.
When transcribing the text, the intention of the speaker is revised, and the style is corrected, making some corrections in words, or structure to give the text more fluency.
Time markers:
As an additional service, we offer time markers.
They are used when the person wants to quickly locate a line, or a paragraph in the audio or video.
For this, in the transcribed document a timestamp is made, which can vary in format, depending on the client, but where the hour, minute and second of that part of the audio is specified.
In this way the interested party can go exactly to that second and avoid waste of time when looking for a specific part.
These markers are usually placed every 15, 30 or 60 seconds.
